My ancestor was Charlemagne and I'm a fucking account manager for a security company

WOW, how the mighty have fallen. I was supposed to have the weekend off and all I got was Friday. Then I started thinking well I don't necessarily need the weekend off, I could take some days in the middle of the week. So I arranged to have Monday and Tuesday off. I was happy for about 2 seconds. I thought that I would get to finally hang out with Mrs. H. and watch our shows and just plain have fun. Fat chance. I received a call from the President of the company telling me that I had to get someone to cover the Buttes for a ballroom function. They had covered 1030PM to 630AM, but needed someone to cover from 6PM to 1030PM. Keep in mind that they called me at 340PM to tell me this. I tried to figure out a way, but it was no use. Everyone was already working. That meant that I had to work it. I got ready and went to work. The bad thing was that I wasn't going to be able to hang out with Mrs. H. When I showed up at the Buttes they told me to watch the parking lot. Which is a fucking easy job. I sat at the entrance of the property in my car. I was parked strategically so that I could see everyone who came onto the property. I played Tetris on my ipod, watched an episode of It's always sunny in Philadelphia, watched some music videos, read a Premiere magazine, and listened to the Howard Stern show. It's times like that that I think, "Wow, I'm getting paid 15.50 an hour to do this? What a job." Granted that there are the times when I have worked over the 40 hours and I don't get paid for it, but mostly it's about like this. Everyday that I do work I think about how pretty easy the job is. It only sucks when I get called away from my plans to fill a spot or whatever.

Now the other thing that sucked tonight was the fact that my guy misunderstood me about what he was supposed to work on Monday night. I had told him that he was going to work 12 hours on Monday, and 9 on Tuesday. He told me that he had written down what I gave him, and it was 7 hours on Monday, and 12 on Tuesday. I straightened it out with him except that then I had to work 2 hours at Morgan Park apartment complex after I left the Buttes. The good news is that on Tuesday I will only work 2 hours instead of 5. That is cool. Now the next thing to worry about is getting someone to work on Saturday at the Airport Hilton for 16 hours, and Sunday for 8 hours. Like always, I'm sure that it will all work out.

Other than that, I watched all of MY shows and now all Mrs. H. and I have to do is watch her and I shows. Now I'm going to go home and either watch a movie or go right to bed. I will then hang out with Mrs. H. and watch t.v. All is well.

Once again, Love and kisses on all your pink parts.
I love you.

Write something!

Diva Princess and Mrs. H. told me that I haven't written on my blog in awhile. I realized that it has been along time. I am glad that my groupies are eagerly awaiting my writing. So here it is.....

Well the last time that I wrote anything I was trying to get Saturday off. Here it is a week later and I'm still trying to get Saturday off. I am short a guy or two. This guy Casey that was working for me said that he was available to work more hours. Then the next day, he didn't show up for work. I called him that night and the next day to give him one more chance and all I got was his voice mail. Oh well. Tough shit for you kid. I also have to cover the Buttes again this week. That's not that big of a deal because I have another supervisor helping me out. I almost wouldn't have had Friday off, but Keith helped me out and made the guy work. That was cool. I also found out today that I will probably be getting a new account. That means another 50 cents to a dollar raise. How fucking cool. The owners gave me a fax machine today. I will be using that to send one of the property's reports. Also I can send in my payroll without worrying about trying to get to Keith's house on the other side of town.

Other than that Mei had a job interview this week in Maryland and Rob wants me to move my tv into my room. That's fine with me because then I don't have to put up with questions or small talk while I'm trying to watch a movie. The only bad thing is the sound. I've told them that I like watching movies when I get home early in the morning. They are still asleep, and I would hate to wake them. Who knows.

Other things are that I haven't spoken to my friend Stephanie in awhile. She called me when she broke up with her boyfriend, but then she didn't call me anymore. Her cell phone is turned off and I was talking to her at her mom's cousin's house. Well I finally heard from her through myspace and she is fine. Good to know.

I also got a lovely text from Mrs. H. the other day that said that she missed me. We used to hang out all the time and she told me that maybe it was too much, but we do miss eachother. I hang out a little here and there, but nothing like what we used to do. I am trying to really work it out to where I will be available more. I am going to try and knock my work week down to 32 hours or something and do all my client stuff during one day. That will be much better. I need to just hire more people and focus more on my clients then on my days off. It is the end of the fiscal year and this is when other security companies are trying to bid for our work. I need to be talking with the clients and making sure that they are happy. If I lose accounts, I lose money.

So now we are caught up to Friday. I went to bed at about 5:30AM and was going to wake up at 11 AM so I could go work out at noon. (I didn't work out all week.) Well my alarm went off, I thought about for a second, and then I rolled over and went back to sleep. I then woke up at 2:30 and had a message from Gary the president of the company. He informed me that one of the security vehicles was ready to be picked up. It was in fact the one that Heath wrecked when he ran over that huge rock. I drank my coffee and then Gary and Keith picked me up. We talked about the upcoming account and my other accounts. Then we waited for the car. Gary had to go get tires for another vehicle. Keith and I stayed at the mechanic's shop. He told us the car was ready, but when he got in to turn it on, it wouldn't start. He tried working on it and then told us that we would have to wait until Monday. That meant that it was useless for me to have even went there because the car wasn't ready, but who knew. Anyway, Keith and I go to meet with Gary at a diner that is next to discount tire company and I have coffee and fried zuchinni and mushrooms. Then Gary takes me home. At home I put on one of my DVDs that I got from Blockbuster while I'm making calls for work. The movie is a weird sexploitation movie called ILSA: She wolf of the SS.

It has naked women being tortured in a Nazi prison camp. I know that it doesn't sound funny, but it an exploitation film. It was made in 1974 and meant to attract the guys that want to see women naked. Granted I do love that they all have natural breasts. This was the 70's after all. Although, I do believe that this was meant for the weirder crowd of guys who like to see their women's nipples clamped and pubes shaved. Plus other weird stuff that I won't get into, and I haven't even watched half the movie yet. Then Mrs. H. calls me and asks if I'm coming over. I said yes, because I missed her as well. I knew that Joe and I had plans for later that night to go watch Flags of Our Fathers. I then got ready and went to Mrs. H.'s house. When I arrived they were on the way to McD's and I went with them. After eating we headed back to Mrs. H. house. I stopped at Blockbuster along with Todd and Steph and rented two movies. The Proposition and District B-13. I arrived at Mrs. H. house and we talked a bit and then I had to go meet Joe at the Cine-Capri. (My favorite movie theater.)

I met Joe and he had already bought my ticket. I buy his alot so he returned the favor. I then went to the concession stand to get some candy and a drink. As I was in line one of the workers yells out that he can help me where he is. As I begin to go over to him, he makes like he's fishing and is reeling me in. I jog over to where he is and I make a stupid little gesture as if the hook is in my mouth. Then I order a Pepsi and Bunch a Crunch. He then sees my shirt and says, "Are you going to blog this?" I said, "Yes, I will now. What's your name?" As I look at his name tag and find out. I say, "Ben.", just as he says his name. I said okay, I'm going to blog about you. So there it was. Joe and I talked a bit and then the movie started. It was a good movie. It showed that the men that put this flag up weren't necessarily heroes, but everyone was in there own way. They were just doing a job. It was expaining that, "hero" is a name that we put on people. Although, the definition of hero is different for each person, some are deserving and some are not. Some of the greatest heroes we will never hear about.

Speaking of heroes. The movie United 93 is very good. One of the best movies of 2006. It is powerful and heartwarming. I had seen all the documenatries about flight 93, but this was the best.

Mrs. H. I miss you very much.
Diva Princess it was nice seeing you and your family tonight.
If anyone else reads this I hope you are in a good place in your life.

I love you guys.
I'm sorry that I assumed on my last post that people loved me.
PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

Filling spots and moving pieces

Well at least I had one weekend off. That was nice.

I received a call from the president of the company telling me that the Buttes need security on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. He told me this on Thursday night. OUCH!

I was supposed to be off on Friday, but now I would have to move the guy that was going to the Airport Hilton to the Buttes. That would mean that the Airport Hilton had to be filled. I thought that I would hire a guy that I had been talking to on the phone that needs a job, and put him at the Airport Hilton. I spoke to him on Friday day and we were supposed to meet. Well he never called me back. So here I am at the Airport Hilton. Now I just have to figure out how to move my guys around to cover the other days. What sucks is that I'm supposed to be off on Saturday. As of now, it doesn't look too likely. I am trying. In fact, when I'm done writing this I am going to try and figure out a way. I believe that I can do it. One of the other supervisors is helping me out on Monday. I can probably cover everything but Saturday. That's the tough one.

Anyway, we went and saw Taylor play in the band at a Greenway High School football game. It was cool. I would think that he felt good about it. We all cheered and told him later how good he did. After that Mrs. H. tried to peddle her Avon to me. She's a crazy little sales woman. I bought it hook, line, and sinker. I think my mom will like it. She will just be so happy that she got something from me. Dad gets a DVD player with surround sound and she gets a 20 dollar thing of make-up. Too funny. Oh well.

On Saturday the H family was going to go to the zoo, and they asked me if I wanted to go. Then it started raining last night and the news says that it will be raining all day. I guess no zoo. Boo Hoo!

Don't know what I'll do on Sunday. Maybe move my big screen t.v. into my room. That would be cool. Then I wouldn't have to sit in the living room and watch movies. I really don't think that my t.v. will fit through my door, but Rob believes that it will. We'll find out.

Other than that, things are going good in my world. I am happy and I have alot of friends that love me and I love them.

Take care everyone.

Finally a day off

Well the bad day started on Friday morning. I got off work at about 630 AM and was supposed to go work out at noon. Well I ended up getting a phone call from my boss. I didn't answer because I figured he would leave a message. Well Frank called me, so I answered, and it turns out that I was supposed to hand in the hours for my guys. I told Frank that I was going to sleep a little longer and then I would go to Frank's. I woke up at 1040 AM and took my time sheet to the owner Keith. He sent it in to the people that he had to and I spoke to him about work. Then the co-owner came in. We talked about what to do about a security vehicle that one of my people messed up. One of the other guys brought a security vehicle for me and I used that. It was brought to the Airport Hilton and I took it home from there. I would be brought to pick up my car later.

We had a slight meeting, but that was over at 5 PM. I then went home and called my friend Joe. We were going to see the Departed on Friday night at 11 pm. When I got home, I received a call that said that one of my workers was not going to make it to work. Fucking people. I was pissed, because that meant that I was going to miss Friday and Saturday with my friends. I was pissed for about a second, then I realized that I could get someone to work it, and that's what I did. After that i went to Mrs. H. house to watch a little television. That's when she fell asleep. Goodtimes had by me. She's a real sound sleeper, if you know what I mean? She woke up when I was ready to leave.

I used Mrs. H. van to meet my friend Joe and go see the Departed. It was a great movie. Joe and I talked about the movie, and then he and I exchanged movies of our own. Then I surfed the internet for a Superman costume, porn, and new sirius radios called stilletos. Okay, and more porn. I then walked home because my car was at the owners house. I finally went to bed at about 5 am. That was my crazy but fun night off.

Then came Saturday. Well, I knew that I didn't have anyone to fill in for Saturday night at the Airport. The first thing that I did when I woke up was ask my father if he wanted to work overtime. He said yes. The shift was then covered. I then just relaxed on my bed listening to my ipod alarm clock. After that I made a cup of coffee, and hung out with more music. Then I went outside and talked to Rob about his car. Finally I went in the house and called my boss to ask him to come and pick me up. He was supposed to give me a ride back to my car. Finally I headed to Serjio's house. I talked with the kids and looked at the temporary house. Yvette, Serjio, and I hung out and talked about ipods and movies. Fun time.

I am now leaving. Serjio is in bed and I am going to head home. This has been a wonderful weekend. I had a great time. I will talk to you later. I am very happy. I am sorry that I couldn't hang out with you all today. I will talk to you all soon. I love you all.

Mrs. H. you are the one that makes me get through my day.
You make me laugh.
You make me feel good when I am with you.
We are symbiotic in all ways, and I love that.
We needn't explain anything to anyone.
I love you sister/friend, with all my heart.

EVERYONE have a GREAT day.

It's been awhile.....

I went on my business trip to San Diego. Me and the other 3 supervisors drove up. It was a nice drive. When we got there Keith and Gary had beers waiting for us. We drank and ate that night. The next day we went to a restaurant on Mission Beach. It was so nice to sit out on the porch, watch the surfers and joggers, eat breakfast, and drink coffee. AWESOME. Then we went to the convention center, signed in, and took some classes. Pretty cool. That night Bryan, John, and I went for a dinner party on the MIDWAY. That's right, the Midway. It's an aircraft carrier that was in service during WWII. It was cool. It's a museum now, but it was cool to be walking in history. I went on a tour and went to the flight deck. I sat in the command chairs just so I was then sitting in history. It was fun. After being there for 3 hours, Keith and Gary took us to a hotel bar that was on the 40th floor. That was awesome. We then went back to the hotel and drank some more. The next day we had breakfast again at the same place, and went to the convention center for our last day of classes. Then we headed home. We got back at midnight.
The trip was a blast.

Before the trip, the owners told me that I had another property. That's the one I was telling you about. It's worth a dollar, but I told them to split it and give 50 cents to my cousin. So now I am making 15.50 an hour. I am very excited. Although the raise wasn't on this last check, but it'll be on the next one.

Other than that, I have all my posts filled. I hired 3 or 4 new guys. I told them that I will start them at 10.50 an hour. Also I arranged it so that my cousin Chip will be my second in command. That means that I can have off Friday and Saturday and not be bothered by phone calls. He will take all the phone calls. So very cool. It's my first weekend off in a long time. I am going on Friday to see the Departed with Joe. Then on Saturday I am going to Serjio's house to hang out with him and his family.

Other than that I am still having a good time. It makes me happy that I got Rylee into Superman, because now she's into ALL things Superman. She watches Superman the Movie and Superman II all the time. She loves them. She always wants me to watch them with her. At this moment she is watching Superman the Animated Series Volume One that I brought over. It's cute because when I first brought it over to show it to her, I told her that "Livewire" was my favorite. Then she said that she wanted to watch that one. Now that's the only one that she wants to watch. There are 18 episodes and she only wants to watch that 1. In November Superman Returns comes out, and we can watch that together. On that same day is a new 4 disc version of Superman the Movie, and a never before seen Director's cut of Superman II. I will definately be buying those. I gave Rylee my Superman and Superman II. She also loves Superman III and Superman IV, so I may have to buy those for her. I am also going to buy her Supergirl, because she has never seen it, and I believe that she will love it. I was thinking of being Superman for Halloween, but she said that Kenny was going to be Superman. I know that she is only 3, but I figure maybe she knows. I don't want to steal Kenny's thunder. I just think that she'd get a kick out of me being Superman. That is, if I can get a costume rental this late in the game.

Sorry this is so long, but I had to catch you all up. I'm sorry for Mrs. H. because she already knows all of this. I just couldn't think of anything else to write that she didn't know. I am in a hurry to go home and go to sleep.

A couple of things.
The new show HERO is awesome.
Battlestar Gallactica is starting the new season on Friday.
Smith is also another good show.

The other cute thing is that Rylee is now humming the Superman song. That makes me happy. I showed her the movies and she remembers the song. It's something that I gave her in a way.

Maybe when she's older and she has a boyfriend this scenerio will happen.

BOYFRIEND: What movie do you want to rent?
RYLEE: How bout Superman the Movie?
BOYFRIEND: That one made 20 years ago with Kevin Spacey?
RYLEE: No the ORIGINAL.
BOYFRIEND: That real OLD one?
RYLEE: It's the best one. My uncle showed it to me when I was little.
BOYFRIEND: I don't know.....
(She smiles her cute smile, and looks up at him with her beautiful eyes.)
BOYFRIEND: Ok.

I will have touched someones life, and that would be awesome.

I love you all and let's hope that Rylee stays 3 forever.

Oh, something that I am excited about right now is that Casino Royale is going to be coming out on November 17th. I can't wait. I am a huge James Bond fan. Before a new James Bond movie comes out, I watch all the previous ones in order and then I go and see the new one. Right now I am ready to watch Goldfinger. I own 8 of the 007 movies, but I've rented the others from Blockbuster.com. Just thought that I would let you know. Now I know that you are saying well if you are such a fan then why don't you own all 20? Well they pulled them before I could buy the others. I believe that around Christmas they will come out with a new set. I will pick them all up then.

While I was writing that I remembered something to tell you about. One of my employees Heath, pronounces tenants, tendants. At first I thought he was just tripping over his tongue, but then when he said again I realized that he's a fucking idiot. Speaking of him. He was on patrol the other day, driving in the patrol car and he ran over a huge rock in the road. It ripped the transmission fluid pan under the car, which then set off the AIR BAGS. I have no idea why the air bags went off, but it's probably going to be cheaper just to get a new car.

Ok, now I'm done. SO very sorry that it was so long.

Wow that's probably the only time that I will ever say that to women.

I love you all and hope that you have a glorious day.

Alway look on the bright side of life.
