Heath Is Not Just A Candybar

Wednesday night I saw one of the best Romantic Comedies EVER! It was called......

10 Things I Hate About You.

It was awesome and funny. It had of course Heath Ledger in it, and he did great. I could see why a producer or someone would watch that movie and think that this guy has something special. That's why you can watch a movie like Star Wars and see the charisma that Harrison Ford has, but not Mark Hamill. This is why Harrison Ford is in so many great movies and Mark Hamill plays the voice of the Joker in the Batman cartoons from the 90's. Heath Ledger was awesome in 10 Things I Hate About You. I feel so bad that it took me forever to finally watch it.

Other than that, I am supposed to be off tonight. Of course that isn't going to happen. SUCKS big time. One of the guys has some kind of back trouble. Therefore, I have to work. The semi good news is that if the guy feels better he will come in and relieve me at like 1am. That still sucks because I have to go in at 11pm.

I went today and finally got my HD cable box. Really cool. I can finally watch my shows.

Roscoe is doing great. Except today I took the puppy gate down and I slept in my bed in the bedroom. I still left the door open and let Roscoe run free. Well, something that I had forgotten was a DVD that I had received from blockbuster online called Planet Earth Disk 4. When I woke up at 3pm, I went outside with Roscoe and I looked down. There was an extremely chewed up and damaged DVD. I thought it was a CD that he had found in the yard. He keeps finding Liddy's old toys and things. That wasn't the case it was the Blu Ray DVD that I had rented. Totally my fault because I left it on the couch.

I am now going to take a bath before I go to work. I will write more later.

Things To Do With Water

Well my little Roscoe is doing well. He is now about 25 pounds. He is so cute. Then again he is a little asshole. His new thing now, which started yesterday, is that he likes to grab his water bowl with his teeth and drag it around. That would be cute if it wasn't full of water. Huge puddles of water were all over yesterday. Then I scolded him and put him in the bathroom when I went to work. When I got home this morning there was water all over the place again. This old house can't take that much water damage. Anyway he's still cute, but I just can't give him lots of water all at once.

The other water thing that I heard today is that a 22 year old man in California was being baptised in the river, and when they put him under the water he never came up. They say that the current must have taken him. They searched for awhile and didn't find anyone. Just struck me as funny. The person on the radio was wondering if he will go to heaven being as he never finished the baptism. That would suck for him. Oh well shit happens.

Well my cousin is leaving the state today and I will be seeing him off and getting my movies back that I lent him. He is moving to Colorado. Speaking of Colorado, my dad and I were supposed to go, but work things came up and I couldn't go. Now dad is getting pissed and wondering why everybody else gets to take time off, but I don't. I explained to him that it is a touchy time right now. I could have my pay deminished if I don't step up and make things happen. He didn't know that things were that serious and he appologized. My vacation is coming up though at the end of August. 2 whole weeks will be awesome. I can't wait. I don't know what I am going to do. I don't have money to rent a car if I went to Florida. I just don't know. So many things that I could do.

Special Day Off.......Yeah Right!

Well the other day I went to a meeting with Ricoh and told him that I wanted the 18th off for a friend of mine's party. That would be Serjio, for those of you who are wondering. Ricoh said sure. I said that I also wanted the next weekend off so that my dad and I could go to Colorado together. He really wants to show me Colorado. Ricoh said that that was fine also. Then when John showed up at the meeting, Ricoh told him that he would be working for me. John actually said that that was fine. See I was actually switching his Friday off for my Saturday off. The next weekend John was just going to work on his days off and that is how I will be able to go to Colorado.

Well here it is July 18th. I had remembered in the middle of the week that the guy that normally works Airport Hilton had asked for it off. Now I have a guy that could work it, but he has tattoos on his forearms and therefore can't work the Hilton. So now I have to go in there and work it. From 3pm to 11pm is what I will be working. Unless some miracle happens and I get out of it. So that's what's going on for now.

For a bit of the lighter side of things......

I just got back from seeing The Dark Knight. I went by myself, because I had been waiting forever to see this movie. I will tell you all that it is AWESOME.

I really hope Heath Ledger gets a Postumous Oscar for his role as the JOKER. He is creepy, funny, sadistic, and twisted. It's ashame that Heath Ledger died, but what a way to go out. Just like Brandon Lee. R.I.P. you guys.

Now back to work stuff.

Well the economy is bad and we are losing a bunch of accounts just because of whatever. Plus one of our guards stole like an 8,000 dollar check out of the guard house. He confessed to it after about a month of our personal and police investigation. With the accounts going away, they are talking about budget cuts. That means they will start with supervisor's pay. They are already buckling down on the gas expenditures. 12,000 dollars we spent in the month of June. On the 14th of July we had already spent 7,000 dollars. So times are tough right now, but I hope we pull through it. I am sure that we will.

I love you all. Have a great day and a better tomorrow.

I am going to go take a nice hot bath now.

Crazy time and Fucked up work things

It's a crazy time here for work right now. A couple of our clients want us to clean house with our old people and replace them with new people. So now I have to be the bearer of bad news and tell some really good people that they are no longer going to be working there regular 40 hour shifts. I can place them somewhere else but I can't gaurantee 40 hours. What will probably happen now is that the new people will be worthless and they will not have the proper knowledge of the client's property. No matter how much training we give them it will not be as good as the guys who have worked there for years. Oh well, if that's what the client wants. It is taking alot of figuring out for the new schedule. I will get it done though. I had a compliment from Ricoh the operations manager the other day about how good I am with the schedule. Doing the "Rubik's cube" as they call it. That made me feel good. It's always nice to be told something positive about yourself.

Steph was here this past week and I only got to see her two very short times. I wish it could have been for longer, but I had to work. I am only off on Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes not even that. On my bestfriends birthday I ended up having to go to work. That REALLY sucked. I was pissed, I am sure that Mrs. H. wasn't too happy either. Although Sunday late at night I finally came over to her house and her mom made me scones. I love those things. I really appreciate the fact that her or her mom make them for me. I love them so.

Now I did get in trouble on Sunday for not coming over early enough, but the flipside of that is that I got alot done. I washed dishes, did laundry, watered my plants and trees, put together my tv stand, and ate some food and watched tv. It was a good day, except for the part that I didn't get spend that much time with my friend.

The other day I traded in a bunch of movies on dvd and got 160 dollars in credit. I then bought Blu Ray movies of Casino Royale (I love James Bond), Die Hard, Die Hard II: Die Harder, Die Hard With A Vengeance, and Live Free or Die Hard (Bruce Willis rocks.), Lethal Weapon (Badass movie with Jew hating Mel Gibson), Man on Fire (Don't fuck with Dakota Fanning and her slave, I mean bodyguard), and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (The hottest looking spies that I've ever seen). All that and I had 15 dollars left. I love the Blu Ray movies they have such definition. SO cool.

The other thing is that I rented Be Kind Rewind, The Hammer, and Vantage Point. Be kind Rewind was very cool and funny. The Hammer was funny with heart. I am watching Vantage Point now, but so far it's good. That is all for now. I am going to have some Honey Nut Cheerios now.

I love you all.

P.S. I put in for my 2 weeks off at the end of August and beginning of September. I am going to try to come to Florida so I can visit Steph and my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. Don't know how likely that is. I may just veg and go on a small road trip with Serjio and one by myself. I don't know, but my options are open. I loved seeing you and the boys Steph. I love you guys.
