We the People......

Well we now have a new president. AWESOME! Bush was an idiot that couldn't do anything right, except maybe sleep. Oh, he also never had a problem taking vacations. I'm so hopeful and happy about this new president. Although, anyone's better than Bush. I missed the inauguration speech, but I will be watching it soon on youtube. The thing that upset me the most was how the media is asking black people what they think of Obama. Let me think about this for a second. Aren't we all equal? Now all of a sudden you're going to only ask the black people what they think of a black president? It's stupid. Why don't we ask women how it feels that they can vote now? Only ask the women because we are not equal. Equal rights is there for a reason. It just angered me everytime I saw it. It's like, "How racist are you?" Maybe I'm silly to think that the world is color blind. It was only about 3 years ago when they finally integrated the black and white prom in the south somewhere. DUMBASS PEOPLE! A friend of mine did say that it's only been 40 years. I guess that may take awhile.

A friend of mine is upset because no appology came from President Obama about taking this land from, and sometimes slaughtering, the Native American people. REALLY? Do you appologize to every black man you meet, because maybe your ancestors owned slaves? Did Bush appologize for getting us into this war? Do the British appologize for maybe killing my ancestors during the American Revolution? Do you appologize to your feet for walking on them all day? Do you appologize to other people for breathing their air? It's called history for a reason. An appology won't change what happened. GET OVER IT.

Something else that happened is that I have a new reader to my blog. Her name is Jamie. HELLO JAMIE! Welcome to my world.

Also my bosses just bought me a cricket internet USB thingy. So now I can sit at home and write my blogs. I don't have to wait for a week until I'm at Kris's house to write a blog. It's actually a good connection too.

Here's what I've been up to. I hung out at Kris's the other day and we watched some shows and then I hung out with Jessica for about 3 and half hours. We talked and I found out that we had alot in common. Although, she fell asleep because I lulled her to sleep with my monotone voice. LOL! Then I went home and of course fell asleep on the couch. I paid 1300 dollars on my bed and then I end up falling asleep on the couch watching movies. I then woke up late and headed over to Kris's house to play Rock Band, eat steak, and watch Lost. All was cool. Of course I played superheroes with Ry and hung out with David, Kris, Taylor, Jamie, Jessica, and Linda. After everyone left and David went to bed, Kris and I watched a show of ours. Then she went to bed. I caught up on all my shows and read my new friend Jamie's blogs. I also ate about 6 or 7 brownies. I LOVE THEM SO! At about 4 A.M. I went home. I came home and wrestled with my dog a bit and we played keep away. Then I fell asleep on the couch again while watching a bad independent movie from the 40's or 50's. I woke up at about noon and watched Max Payne on Blu Ray. It was nowhere near as cool as the video game. I ate some Top Ramen stuff that I stole frum Kris's house the other night. Now I'm writing this.

I work tonight, which sucks. For those who don't know, John quit. He was the other Supervisor. So now I have to try and figure out a new schedule that will work with my days off. I could maybe change my days off to be Thursday and Friday, but I'm not sure if that would be good for everyone involved. I'm hoping that now that John is gone that I will either get a raise or a bigger bonus. Let's hope. I'm still loving my work and my boss is really cool.

Well, I guess I've rambled long enough. I am going to take a nap and then take a lovely bath. Then it will be back to work for me.

I love you all. Have a great day and a wonderful night.

When I Die

My friend Serjio and I have figured out that we want our favorite songs playing at our funeral, memorial, wake, or whatever. Plus something that is interesting is maybe the way someone tells a story. For instance Serjio said that he wouldn't really have any stories of me to tell, but he would tell the Brigitte stories that we all love so much. Kind of funny to me.

Things that are also interesting is what kind of stories are the people in your life going to tell about you. When you leave this life of ours, will you have touched someones life in a special way. I think that I have, and I hope that people have great stories to tell about me.

The other day I went to Starbuck's for a cup of coffee and on the cup was written this.....

THE WAY I SEE IT #292
The way we get to live forever is through memories stored in the hearts and souls of those whose lives we touch. That's our soul print. It's our comfort, our emotional nourishment at the end of the day and the end of a life. How wonderful that they are called up at will and savored randomly. It seems to me we should spend our lives in a conscious state of creating these meaningful moments that live on. Memories matter.

Amazingly enough that was a quote by Leeza Gibbons. I thought it was very profound and thought that it was written by a scholar of some sort, but it wasn't.

A song that I will definately play at my memorial is the song, "Say" by John Mayer. The song was in the movie The Bucket List.

The song is about what I had said at my mom's memorial. Cherish every minute. Say what you need to say.

Here are the lyrics for Say.......

Take all of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so-called problems,
Better put ‘em in quotations

Say what you need to say [x8]

Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead,
If you could only . . .

Say what you need to say [x8]

Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You’d better know that in the end
Its better to say too much
Then never say what you need to say again

Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open

Say what you need to say [x24]

It's a very great song. Things that I missed was little things that I didn't say to my mom when she was alive. Kris sometimes makes fun of me that I want a hug before I leave or she goes to bed. That could be the last time that we see eachother alive.

Sorry so kind of morbid, but please Cherish everyday and every little minute that you are alive. It all matters.

I love you all and I hope that you have a great week.

I'm in a Good Place

Something funny I found from google images under the word, "Happiness". Shawn asked me the other day how I was doing. I told him that I was doing very well. I'm in a great place in my life right now. I know that I've said that alot, but it's good to see it every once in awhile.

First of all for Christmas I got an 800 dollar bonus from the owners of the company. The cool thing with that is that we also got a bonus at the end of the month. That one was 350 dollars. Very cool. :)

Now the semi bad thing is.....
On Saturday morning I was pulled over by the police.
The reasons were.....
Expired Tags. (Nov. 08)
No License Plate Light.
License Plate Cover covering up the word ARIZONA. (New 2009 law.)
No Current Address in system on AZ Drivers License.
Proof of Insurance not in the car.

I fixed them all. It should be fine. I hope the judge will throw it all out being as it's fixed. I will find out on January 27th.

Things are going so great at work. The owner, Keith, has been giving me all kinds of treats. Money, his wife makes me food, and he compliments me on the work I do. I love it.

Now for some stories.
The other day my dad and I were at the bar and some guys behind us were talking about towel heads. I just thought it what kind of funny for someone to be racist out in the open like that. (Not that it's ok to be racist in the privacy of your own home, but it is a human right.) They were older guys and that's just how they were. I just found it funny and weird.

Another story is that I am also happy about my life, because I still LOVE GINA. My mustang is awesome. What I don't like is what the new 2010 Mustang looks like.

2006 Mustang GT

1010 Mustang GT

So there it is. I finally wrote a blog.

Not that you care but I also started a blog that will show Gina in different locations. Who knows if I'll keep it up though.

It's under ginathemustang.blogspot.com

I will try to put it on the side there, but I don't have much time or even remember much of how to do it.

Mrs. H. if you could help me out and also connect Todd's blog to mine, then that would be way cool.

Thank you ladies very much for reading.

Have a great day and a great year.
