That which doesn't kill you, can make you pass out and vomit on yourself.

Went to a domestic disturbance call at work the other day. When I arrived the man was sweating, his t-shirt was ripped at the collar, and he had scratches on his neck. The woman was out cold on the floor with vomit on her cheek and on the floor. He explained to me that she attacked him and he picked her up and threw her down. That was when she was knocked unconscious. The Police were called and the paramedics showed up. They both went their seperate ways for the night.

It was kind of crazy because we had just had a wedding at the hotel about an hour earlier. It was all smiles and love. Then I arrive at this room and these people's marriage was full of unconsciousness and vomit. It is a sad world that we live in sometimes. Well, we live in it all the time, but I meant sometimes it's a sad world. Rape, murder, death, cancer, car wrecks, child molestation, starvation, war, and any other bad thing you can think of, exists in our world.

Although, love, happiness, children's laughter, births, sunsets, sunrises, a good cup of coffee, a sunny day, flowers, puppies, kittens, naps in the afternoon, and nice soft beds exist as well. It is the ying and yang that keep the world turning and our life balanced. Sometimes our life feels out of balance, but if you stay strong then it all levels out in the end.

A saying that I always remember was the title to Bruce Willis's second album. It was called "IF IT DOESN'T KILL YOU, IT CAN ONLY MAKE YOU STRONGER". It is so right and true. Although, I've had some people say, "Well I've put up with so much shit that I should be dead." They just don't get it. They want sympathy and are not thinking of how much stronger they are for going through whatever hell they had to to get to that point in their life.

Bad things happen to all of us and that shapes who we are. The movie Legend had a line in it that said, "Without Darkness there is no light." Meaning, as I've said before, "You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have the facts of life." Now that was the theme song to Facts of Life, but it is so true.

80's television can tell us alot, such as;

"The world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might right for you, may not be right for some." ---Different Strokes

"If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them. Maybe you can hire, THE A-TEAM"---The A-Team

Ok that last one was stretching it, but I think you get my point.

I love you all and will definately write more frequently.
